Naoko is a Norwegian duo fusing contemporary RnB and electronic avantgarde, consisting of producers and songwriters Erlend Elvesveen and Charite Viken. Our work deals with mystical themes, of magical realism and sci fi, driven by fascination of sound timbre and its associative effects.

The EP-single “Torch the Sky” was selected for the acclaimed mixtape “Mutants Mixtape”, alongside artists like Arca, Against All Logic, Holly Herndon, Kai Whiston, Matmos, Cecile Belive, clipping. and Varg2tm.

The songs on the EP deals with existentialist themes of ecological disaster, rebirth and feminism, through a palette of mystical and futuristic soundscapes.
